We all know Billy The Miner isn't the brightest candle, but he means well. McPheeny asked him to help out by tossing explosives down the mine shaft so they could use it to create a new tunnel, but Billy wanted to do a really good job so he just started tossing everything down the shaft. If the mine fills up with explosives the destruction would be terrible! Billy will throw bombs faster and faster, for three minutes and then he will give up and go have lunch. Can you keep the mine clear that long?
This game requires a mouse to play. You must click one of the explosives and move it up and down, when you line up three or more of the same type of explosive in a row or column it will detonate and launch all the explosives above it out of the mine. Diagonally touching bombs don't count, they have to be three (or more) in a row, or three in a column.
You cannot move bombs side to side! You can move Coal side to side.
Burned bombs turn to charcoal. They stay blackened forever, and they can't be used to make any new explosions. It's best to try and launch them out of your field so they don't build up too quickly and end your game. You can move charcoal horizontally as well as vertically, so use that to your advantage!
Each explosive charge weighs about 5 pounds. It takes a pretty decent explosion to hurl a large amount of them out of the shaft. Remember that. When you blow up a horizontal line of charges and there are a lot of charges still on top of it, it might not have enough power to make it to the top. It might even be so heavy that it doesn't move at all!
You get 11 points for each bomb you blast out of the mine shaft. You get 23 points for each inert chunk of coal you manage to launch out of your mine. You also get 5 points per bomb you explode, and you can get combo bonuses for blowing up bombs that are already in the air!
Remember that blowing up bombs next to other bombs may set them off as well, it just makes sense after all. No self respecting bomb would sit next to a huge explosion and not also detonate. There are six types of bombs. When a bomb near the top of the list explodes, it will detonate any bombs around it that are lower on the list by ONE step. For example a flask of nitroglycerine has a depth charge next to it, and a stick of dynamite on the other side. It will detonate the sticks of dynamite, but will NOT detonate the depth charge.

The Bomb List (in order of explosive power)
1. Barrel of TNT
2. Depth Charge
3. Flask of Nitroglycerine
4. Dynamite
5. Standard bomb
In multiplayer mode it's a race to see who can survive the longest. If you both survive the entire round time, a winner is chosen based on score. Make sure you press B on the keyboard, or click Billy, because the extra bombs can make the difference between a low and high score. Careful though, its easy to fill up your mine and get in to trouble too.
In single player you are playing for highest score you can get before your mine fills, or 3 minutes expires.
Keep an eye out for special bombs! They have super powers you can use to make your game more interesting. Right-Click them to activate their countdown. You can also move them around just like any other bomb. After 5 seconds they will explode and unleash their power. Be careful not to launch them right out of your mine before they go off!

1. Lightning Bomb: Lightning strikes your mine and clears out 2 entire columns of bombs.
2. Nuke: The nuke will clear all the bombs around it when it goes off, 2 in each direction, and leave a ring of blackened (and probably radioactive) charcoal in it's wake.
3. Neutron Bomb: The Neutron Bomb will mutate all the charcoal on your screen in to normal bombs again!
How about the falling bombs tossed by Billy, where do they fall? Well it's random you see. Billy is a hard guy to control and it's really hard to predict where he is tossing those things or what comes next. The bombs, and columns they fall in, are the same for you and your opponent, but they are different every game.
If you find that you are running out of bombs to launch and you want more, click on Billy and he will throw a lot of bombs at you, really fast. You can click him as many times as you want, or press B on the keyboard instead!
Please note your opponents screen shows his game a few seconds behind, to compensate for network latency and prevent cheating.
