Playing A Game

Skill City exists for games!

The first thing you have to decide is which game to play. There are many ways to get to the games in Skill City.

One way to get to a game is to click the Games Pavilion location. This is listed under Skill City Plaza in your Navigator's Places tab, as shown below.

If you enter the Games Pavilion through this method, you will be presented with a screen that will show you which games are available for play in Skill City. Below is an image of the Games pavilion screen.

Choose the game you wish to play by reading the quick description, and previewing the game in the screenshot associated. Click the logo, or the screenshot, to enter that games page.

Each game has a unique page in your Skill City Navigator. This page will give you access to many things. The primary feature is the How To Play button which will pop-up directions on how to play the game you are looking at. Should you desire a different game, you can select it in your Navigator's Places Tab or you can go back to the Games Pavilion.

Notice that there are many types of game play, that is to say, there are a lot of ways you can choose to play just one game. Popular ways of playing are placed under the header of Featured Games, and this is the menu that is open by default. You can quickly choose a game type you would like to play and click GO to start that game!

If you wish to customize your experience a little more, you can choose from the other game types by clicking their title. The game types menu will expand and show you options within. In the image below the Head-to-Head Token Games menu has been expanded.

In the large black box you will see listed all the games that are waiting for an opponent. You can select one of those to join the game, or you can start your own by filling in the Entry Fee you wish to pay, and also have your opponent pay. The prize will be shown when you change the Entry Fee. Now click Go and you will be placed in the waiting list for somebody to join your game, or for a suitable opponent to be found for you using our Skill Match System.

Try a few of the different kinds of games here and find the one you like the best. You can play for Tokens, or if you have a cash account you can even play for real money! If you are interested in playing alone just for practice, you can play in Single Player and even win tokens just for playing!

To play a game against a specific person, or a friend, you should use the Challenge system. There are many ways to access it, either from your Friends list, or from the Players Online screen.

Clicking the Challenge Icon next to a name will let you create a specific one-on-one game with the person you are challenging. You can set the game, and the entry fee which defines the prize. Your opponent is then informed they have a challenge and they can accept or decline your offer.
