Progressive Tournaments
Progressive tournaments are an easy way to win a cash prize at Skill City!
What are they?
Progressive tournaments are single player mode games. You are trying to get the highest score you can, but the best part is that you can play as many times as you want. You pay a small entry fee each time you play, and then at the end of your game your score gets recorded. Your entry fee is added to the prize pot, and as more and more people play the prize gets larger and larger.
Tournaments with a cash entry fee never require a key or a subscription to play. They are open to all players who are of legal age with enough money on their account to pay the entry fee. Some states may be prevented from playing due to US law.
You can see how you are doing in any tournament by clicking on the Tournament History Console. Its a link located on your Places bar, scroll down a little and you will see it.

When you click on it, you see a list of every multiplayer or single player progressive tournament you have played. You can select from the drop down at the bottom to see more or less. You can only go back as far as one month.
How do you play them?
Just click the Progressive Tournaments link on your Places bar. You will then see a screen that looks similar to this:

All tournaments are listed, some are Daily, which means they will only run for a few hours. Other tournaments are weekly and will run for many days. Each type of tournament is listed beneath a header, and you can click the MORE button to see more information on that specific tournament including what date and time it will close.

Click the GO button and the game will start. Thats all there is to it! Your entry fee is taken as soon as you accept to enter the tournament, so do not disconnect during a game as this will automatically forfeit you from that game and lose your entry fee. You can however enter again, and again, as many times as you want!
When a tournament that you are playing in closes, the system will reward a share of the pot to the top ten players. The prize is divided up this way:
1st place: 27%
2nd place: 17%
3rd place: 14%
4th place: 12%
5th place: 10%
6th place: 8%
7th place: 6%
8th place: 3%
9th place: 2%
10th place: 1%
Its automatic! You dont even need to be online when the tournament closes, the system will just put the money in to your account for you.
Remember: You can play as many times as you want, and you can be in as many tournaments as physically possible, there is no limit!
